This is a very reputed garden of Darjeeling, situated in the Kurseong valley of Darjeeling district. This garden makes some good batches of muscatel Darjeeling tea during the 2nd flush harvest and is known worldwide for its classic Darjeeling taste.
We are really glad to choose this fine batch of tea this year. This batch is plucked from 100% pure china bushes of this prestigious garden of Darjeeling. The dry leaves are sorted small in size and have a dehydrated look which is a sign of a true 2nd flush Darjeeling tea. The dry leaves gives out delicious aroma of dark chocolates, with hints of woody and fruity notes. When steeped for complete 5 minutes the cup gives out golden orange liquor. Each sip reminds of almonds, dark chocolates and leaves a sweet and musky aftertaste on the palate.
This is an overall a very fine quality tea which is perfect as a day starter!

This garden of Darjeeling has been producing some very good teas this year, right from the 1st flush 2016 harvest.
Actually Mr. Yogdeep Gurung (the manager of Runglee Rungliot tea garden) who has recently joined the garden has been working very hard to produce high quality teas and each batch of tea produced from this garden shows his high quality tea making skills this year.
We are very thankful to Mr. Gurung for sending us the sample for this excellent batch of tea. This batch of 2nd flush 2016 Darjeeling tea is a very well made batch which is plucked from the high elevation pure china bushes of this garden.
